Niseko - Hirafu

Published by saison-club

Nestled between Mt Annapuri and Mt Youtei, Niseko-Hirafu boasts terrific views, 5 hot springs, a fantastic range of eating places and powder snow. Niseko-Hirafu, regarded as one of Hokkaido’s top ski resorts, is actually part of the town Kutchan and is made up of 4 individual resorts: Hirafu, Hanazono, Annapuri, and Higashiyama. The village itself is a short drive to the main town and boasts a truly international feel, with residents from all over the world.

The resorts vertical is 1000 meters, comprising of 30% Beginner, 40% Intermediate and 30% Advanced terrain on some of the best powder skiing in the world. There are no surface tows in Niseko, only chairlifts and some have protective weather hoods from wind and snow. Bad weather does not mean bad visibility in Niseko, as the resort has an abundance of tree runs and being low in altitude it rarely experiences true whiteout conditions. On a clear day, the views from Niseko are breathtaking, snow all the way to the ocean’s edge and as far as the eye can see.

The Saison Club is located in Annapuri and offers a quiet retreat away from the busy tourist town of Hirafu a short 15minute drive away. Close to some of Niseko’s most beautiful natural Hot Springs, we offer accommodation, indoor and outdoor activities, restaurants, a cafe and a bar lounge.
